Ive been looking round the local (north of the bridge in Sydney) framers and they mostly suck...
I even have one down the road but hes blind as a bat and his shop smells damp... hmm....
The only one I think is probably any use is in Lane Cove but he doesnt seem to have all the kit do do the floating mounts and stuff that I used to have done in the UK...
Can everyone / anyone advise who they use?

I forgot to mention... I went to one place in Castle Towers where they cut out mounts in the shape of your name etc.... I asked about framing some money double sided so you could view either side... yes it was banksy tenner and a real £10 note.... the bloke looked at me like I was mad and told me it couldnt be done, and when I insisted it could as I already had one likethis, he made out like I was an idiot asking for the world on a stick... Ive not been back. A good framer is hard to find... if anyone wants a lead on one in Swindon, UK - I know just the man!

If you want one in Bristol...Niche in Stokes croft. The only people I ever trusted and they've always done top quality work. A few mates have used the recently as well and been well happy.

Yeah Tugi is a top bloke. Been into his factory and looked at his wares without ever twigging that he does framing...d'uh!! He was talking about getting an indoor studio sorted to display some Aussie boys and gals. Apparently awaiting the bloke to move out of the premises. Should be a good one to look out for

Now that would be good. Did you go to the show he organised at the MTV gallery last year? Zap had some great screen prints but at a $1000 were too much for me. Worth it as they were originals but didnt have the cash. Prints on the other hand would certainly get a wider audience a la Stupid Krap

yeah I went just before it opened as I had to go interstate. some interesting stuff there but honestly a lot of the stuff was a bit "immature" (for lack of a better word) for me.
I can get those same prints from Zap for 100 bucks, but good on Tugi for trying to raise the scene.

My avatar is from I 'dead tram' I painted in some derelict warehouse in the back of Glebe. I went there to paint Doer, Doze & Zapp. Zapp in his unusal/usual ways has asked the location to remain unknown. Its full of dead buses, trams and bloody walls! Its a real dump of a place, with so much graff texture everywhere. Sadly the young graffiti writers have gone through there and trashed the place. Smashed all the windows out of the trams etc.
