Nice pics Joe Looks a great spot for some moody graffiti photography. Got into an old Dunlop factory and looks very similar. Some great stuff and some wreckless vandalism. Looked cool tho'. They are now in the throws of knocking it down which is a shame.

Love that bottom Zap... superb.
Ok just back from Graphic Art Mount... wow what a setup! Superb framers. I left them my STOT APs and had a good chat with them about all things art and found they also do perspex boxes... I may get them to do a few of those for me...
Also, you have to visit if only for the street works gallery outside... just amazing. Thanks for sending me there guys!

You couldn't of missed the back room. Its superb. The lady you dealt with is most likely Tugi's wife. They both have a wonderful setup and are very nice and genuine people.
Tugi's got a great collection of stuff hanging around the place, ranging from Prins, Phibs to Dmote... a fair bit of Scam influence too.

Well I did see lots of great art in all the rooms i went in... (I had a bit of a 'swivel head' about me ) To be honest I was really impressed. I used a great place in the UK (Chromatic Arts in Swindon) who did all what i wanted and very innovative, but they didnt 'get' the scene at all, but they did know art and how to frame it. So, all in all I like GAM so far, it will be interesting to see what my quote comes back like.... CA in Swindon were a good laugh actually and Id recomend them to anyone btw. One day I took in a sign with a banksy rat painted on it... Merv said to me, 'Gimme 2 mins with a rag and I reckon I could get that sign looking like new again for you, that mess on the bottom looks like normal paint.... I'll only be 2 tics..' Ha bloody ha... good bloke tho

jonw... was thinking of paying these guys a visit to get my D*face framed. what are the prices like?
I have a guy i usually go to in Alexandria. he's a nice guy, does a really good job and his prices are very reasonable, but i'm a touch unsure of letting him handle stuff that i may want to sell on one day.

Well... no I wouldnt say they were cheap, but they only use the top notch materials and they work with you to get what you want done. If its an important piece and you want to make sure its reversible then they would be a good call. I took them an original Reg Mombasa and 2 banksy's yesterday which im having acrylic boxed.
Any link or info on your Alexandria guy or is he more the place you would take photos and posters than the good stuff? Ive been in all sorts of framers here and some scared the hell out of me. chop saw in same room as work, pieces setting up on the bench, next to works piled high etc... it worried me what my end result would end up like...

it's a kind of warehouse setup. not flashy but the main guy Joseph is an old dude who seems to know his stuff. i was given his details by Mike O'Meally the skate photog. i've trusted him with a few original drawings and he's done a good job. I also got an original WWII poster framed by him and it looks great. the thing is big, probably about 800x1000mm and it only cost me $180. which i'm pretty sure is a damn good price.
here are their details: The Framing Centre Ph# 9319 6919 27 Mc Cauley St (off McEvoy st) Alexandria NSW 2015
make sure to ask for Joseph. the other guys in there don't speak very good English and have stuffed up a couple of things of mine before. Joseph is spot on though.
