Cool and in chatting to Matt it seems like hes hooked a few of us up with some stuff. Im still crying softly in my beer that my 5th man canvas is still with my folks in the UK, but hopefully I should be able to get it (and some others) here soon. Can people post photos of their SPQR works on here when they arrive as im keen to get my fix vicariously if I have to...

No. Woke up this morning to find out about it. Knew ASab was releasing something but didnt know it would be SPQR. Really nice piece too and great price....200 squid. Went in 5 minutes!!! Like what he had to say to........ Here's a little bit from SPQR talking about the piece... "The concept : take the old hippy ideology of placing flowers in the barrels of rifles , and mixing it up with a bit of pro active anarchic sabotage . The challenge - to disable a multi million pound killing machine, built to withstand any kind of impact .. using one tin of paint , one bag of balloons and one well aimed throw ! Cover the sensors and like the Argonaut - you have blinded the Cyclops." Naturally at auction saboteur we like this gesture. We liked it even more when we asked SPQR how does he feel if people call him the 'poor mans Banksy' ? With a cheeky smile he answered... ' I would be honored'.

2 out of 3 aint bad waxology and great buys Didnt know too much until JonW posted on this site, cheers Jon. He can clearly cut a stencil, pretty amazing skills and very well executed. Subject matter to date has been cool too. For me he's another one that makes me want to see what comes next. Get em while there hot!

Wow they sold out quick. Matt is so hot right now. Im really pleased for him, but to be honest his work is great so its no wonder people are clamouring to get them. Hes got some galleries about to exhibit some of his works and more things in the pipeline so we should be good to get some of his new works as they arrive. I think Matt will be forced to do more prints over time, and I mean 'forced' in a good way. The canvases are great but take up time and space etc. The prints are in larger numbers and also cheaper so provide a better hit for the fans. They will sell out quickly but provide more chance I hope for us to get them. I think this was a great image. Not least beause of the intricate nature of the stencils, the white highlight is just inspired imho, you can feel the action in the work... and people say stencils are boring... tut tut One great thing about Matt is that he is prolific, so I doubt we will have to wait long for the next installment.

Seems we may get a Screenprint of the most recent image... Matt says 'For everyone else - a screenprint of the image is in the works i think !'
One to look out for....
