Re: THE FIESTA RESISTANCE (POW) « Result #1 Today at 6:47am »
LOL sadly not at cost, but would entertain offers if people are interested. I dont have to sell it but I cant see me framing it anytime soon, Ive got some big bills and plenty of other art to hang on my walls. Market value seems to be round GBP2.5k and people on .info seem to say its 'rising due to the smaller edition size', 'hard to find' etc. I dont know about that, I just know Id be happy to sell it locally to a mate if someone wanted it. There is at least one guy who will pay market value in the UK right now, so its not like this one is a hard one to sell. I just think its better it sells locally as its probably the only one here, plus you all know me and that its genuine etc.

Worth a look imho, started last Thursday so you missed the opening, er... i know i know... anyway, drop by. I have and its great to see the different styles and interpretations artists have used to convey their own image.
I very much liked those by Ben Frost, Haha and Ears (amazing new direction for him too) which I expected as I like their work usually, but was blown away by the puppet in a jar from Jemma (I forget her last name) and also the detail on the Skael. If only id had a bit of handy cash Id have had those two in a flash, damn.

No Joe.. didn't get this one, can't grumble got a Donut though and St.Giles so thats me spent for 2009. So much bickering on the banksy site - I think POW have done a good job to be honest, their lottery gives us (people overseas) a chance unlike BRP who seem to have a friends priority list (which is fair enough if youve been a loyal customer for years i suppose). Also there are so many greys on Ebay already - so the guys who queued up(not real fans) have paid for their xmas!! I laughed at some of the comments paying eastern Europeans to queue up etc.. I think they will be still letting overseas people know over the next few days.. so good luck guys..

No worries mate, defo worth a look tho. but dont believe google maps... make sure you go to James St in Waterloo not Redfern or Surry Hills... hmm... we *may* have messed that up first out
The space next to the gallery was superb, what was once a car park looks transformed, wish i was parking my car in there!
Spoke to Ears as well as I was walking past O'Really and he was in there with a broken leg, poor sod, and he mentioned they are having a show next week of artist self portraits, should be worth a look... how about we all meet up and have a beer? If we can get the usual crowd there it would be great to share an Xmas brew with da boyz

Yeah I clocked the Dolk thread over on info. I'm a huge Dolk fan but I haven't got into his recent releases. I agree with you Gadget, I prefer his street piece with the halo and skin tone to his print release. I'm not sure if this will sell out immediately, lets see.
If anyone has Burger King or Puppy Love they want to off load, let me know.

Thanks Joe.. There is a street piece on a thread on the banksy site which i prefer, (the one with the halo) I think there are a lot of Dolk fans out there so it should go quick...
I think the misses option is best, but don't tell her that. I'm looking forward to seeing the picts. I noticed we have the same Coco Republic couch too Gadget, like your style.

Its all moving forward quietly. Doesn't seem to be as much hype around it this year. I do like the looks of the Lister print, I wonder what the price tag will be?? No doubt it'll be double the Stupid Krap prices. I'll try for the Banksy too.
thanks guys... opted for in the middle of wall and render line, i wanted to go that way initially then the misses started chewing my ear off LOL!!!! and we were going to go the other way, Will send a pic of the Donut once its up Also thanks Graffle I have seen that track system, once we get a bigger house i will be going down route.. cheers
Get this stuff, put it up once (3/4 holes) and you can swap and change you art as much as you like, its amazing. I have it all over the walls of my gallery and they are just up the road from me. I cant recomend it enough.....
Hi Guys i am drilling holes (for 2 other prints) and thought do drilling also for my donut which is in the framers. Its approx same size as this logan hicks. What you reckon centre of the render line and wall or centre of stairs and wall.. Me and the misses are undecided.... we are leaning more toward the centre of stair and wall..
Isnt the colours t'other way round?? Green O/S, grey pick up?
Agree with the Lister. Gotta be a good thing for him to get even more of a widespread audience.
Id think the one from the open FR show will be a raffle again, otherwise people will be camped out for a week to be first in the que....either way im over here with you guys so its makes no difference to me
Re: faile, sickboy, case, hush 4 sale « Result #27 on Dec 3, 2009, 2:06pm »
Thanks for the love, in an ideal world I would be keeping all of these, I just need some cash for other comitments. If anyone is interested in more than 1 piece I could work out a deal
Hi guys would be nice to be back for this, I like the Banksy prefer the green but looks like grey will be available in a lottery.. I quite like the Xenz also. Nice to see Lister getting in with POW, can only be a good thing. hope your all well..

Very nice.
Love the frame on Jeff's piece, the case is v frickin provocative.....love it would sit well with Banksy's Toxic Mary and if I didnt have the faile, still unframed but moving up the list, I'd buy it to save the agg! Fine example of their work with plenty of brushwork. Definitely one of the most painterly artists involved in the scene with a feel of bang for your buck.
(SYDNEY) - Beastman, Numskull, Phibs & Yok « Result #35 on Nov 30, 2009, 10:45am »
Hey guys,
My site (theopeninghours.com.au) is supporting a killer show next week. Hope you can all make it. The artists have taken things to the next level for this show with large sculptures and installations, and even extending the show into a warehouse space next to the Ambush gallery. Get down!
------------------------------------------------------ An exhibition of artwork and installations by
BEASTMAN NUMSKULL PHIBS YOK
Four of Australia's most prolific and recognized artists - Beastman, Numskull, Phibs and Yok - are coming together this summer for an epic Sydney exhibition not to be missed. Well known for their unique styles, characters and innovative techniques these artists are at the forefront of the flourishing underground art scene. This innovative group show will feature an immense collaborative mural, sculptural installations as well as new original paintings and illustrations on canvas, wood and paper.
Looks like a good show, I will be on hols so will miss the opening but will pop in after to see what the Yok's been doing. I dont know much about the other guys but lookforward to seeing some of phibs's work..

Should be a good show.. I went to the show last year at BRP, great night.. I like the 'running man', large print i think it was 600 quid.. My mate queued up for a chat and signed book.. took ages i think i must have taken 3 beers to him whilst queuing..
Re: Moscow TMA.... « Result #47 on Nov 14, 2009, 3:23pm »
well done GBH.. have you got the full set thus far?? (as i think there will be more).I would pay face value for them all but not crazy over the odds prices. Although now sydney is my home i would pay over for that but none of the others. later guys
